Organic Greensheel Mussels with chilli Dressing
(Makes enough dressing for approximately 15-20 mussels)
Ingredients
500gms frozen half shell Pure Aotearoa Greenshell Mussels
Ingredients - Dressing
45ml - 3 tbsp soy sauce
45gms - 3 tbsp sugar
45ml - 3 tbsp rice vinegar
2gms - 1 tsp Korean chilli powder
5gms - 1 tsp garlic, crushed
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
5ml - 1 tsp sesame oil
Method
Take out quantity of mussels required from the pack and place in a steam pot with the meat side up.
Steam briefly until warm (for the mussels to remain succulent & tender do not over steam, steam just enough to heat through).
Place mussels on a large share platter and pour over the dressing.
Method for Dressing
Blend all the ingredients for the dressing in a bowl, mixing them together thoroughly.
